Agrohomeopathy

Many of us are keen on organic farming. So much can be done to improve soil conditions and plant protection without chemical fertiliser and pesticides. There is a lot going on in Aotearoa that attracts even worldwide interest. Just think of the farmers who replace the plastic covers for baling by using natural fibre that animals can eat. Imagine also what that means for our efforts to reduce plastic in the environment and micro plastic particles in all our bodies.

Agrohomeopathy is a non-toxic and low chemical approach based on the principles of homeopathy according to the physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843). The principles of similarity (-similia similibus curentur in Latin-) or like cured by like; individualisation and infinitesimal doses based on potentisation-dilution and succussion (rhytmic, vigorous strikes)- are adapted to agriculture. We know these principles work in the human sphere and on animals and transfer and translate the same principles to the level of plants and soil with all its biological, physical and chemical qualities. Then agrohomeopathy can reduce the reliance on chemical fertilisers and pesticides, both reliant on the use of finite resources and the downside of toxic side effects on soil, water and air.

Once potentised the used substances are active through their energies they transmit, as much as through their material activities. We all know how significant the role of energy is in the healing process of living organisms. At the same time we are aware that we only know some but not all about living connections of all organisms in existence and should give room to new insights and cognitive capacities.

Equipped with new insight we can accept the ‘law of minimum dosage’ – the claim that the lower the dose of a potentised medication, the greater its effectiveness. The dynamic process of potentisation transforming the remedy’s original substance into an energetic pattern.

There have been experiments with plants and their reactions to good or bad vibrations, emotions such as love, empathy or hate. The mechanism is still unexplained, as far as I know. The more we will practice the new energetic approach the more we shall learn and find out, leading to a better understanding and acceptance of the processes within.

We all have goals to strive for. Positive thinking sometimes yields good results. Let’s create an Optimist Club and enthuse others to join in.
